I attended Poway Academy of Hair Design in 2001. After graduating I assisted at Dale International Salon. In 2002 I went to work at The Loft Hair Design where I assisted the Owner, Shawna Cruise. As a stylist I am always in pursuit of education. I attend at least one class a month in creative color and advanced haircutting techniques as well as business and personal development. My passion is creative color I love experimenting with new trends.

Stacey Mayerchik  - Salon Director

I completed my basic career training at Palomar Institute of Cosmetology in 2001. I began my career at Portico Hair Studio, but quickly realized it wasn’t for me. From that point I came to The Loft Hair Design and assisted Shawna Cruise. I began building my business while continuing my education with advanced cutting and color classes. I decided to give booth renting a try at Image Tech Salon. After trials and tribulations has landed me back at The Loft. I am extremely excited to be back and can’t wait to continue my education and be a part of this amazing and talented team!

Robin Oquist  - Salon Director

I have been styling hair here in Escondido for almost 30 years. Three years ago I had the opportunity to move to The Loft and expanded me services to include color. One thing I especially like about my work in this area is that it keeps me in touch with people I have known for years in the community.
