Local Insurance Executive Goes Red for Charity ESCONDIDO, CA - Kevin S. Svetich, center, a local insurance executive, participated in Stone Brewing's 'Do Your Do Red, Green or Blue Week' charitable fundraiser by dying his hair red. He raised more than $3,400 from friends, family and co-workers who pledged money to see him change his hair color. Last year, participants raised $60,000 for charity.

This year, proceeds will go to the Boys & Girls Club of San Marcos, Palomar Family YMCA of Escondido, Looks Like Me! and Children's Hospital and Health Center. With Svetich, are master hair designer Celestina Griego, left, and The Loft Hair Design owner Shawna Cruise, who helped Svetich keep his promise to go red.
